How do I book a tour?

When should I book a tour?
To avoid disappointment, you should book as early as possible. Some tours may fill up quickly and some may cancel due to an insufficient number of passengers. Please note tours requiring hotel accommodations require rooming lists 30 days prior to arrival.
Where do your tours leave from?
We offer several different pick–up points in New York and Connecticut depending upon what direction the tour is heading. Our Departure Points page lists these locations and offers address information with a map link to make getting there easier.
Is parking available at the Departure Points?
Free parking is available at the locations in Dover Plains, Pawling and Brewster, as well as in Danbury and Waterbury. There is a charge for parking at the Southbury location.
What times do your tours leave?
Tour departure times are listed beneath each tour. However, most tours leave in the morning between 7:00 am and 9:00 AM and return in the evening around 7:00 pm.
Do you have children’s rates?
Some tours do have children’s rate. These rates are noted in the price information of the tour.
Do you have discounts for groups?
We do offer discounts for groups. Call 1-800-457-3966 for more information.
How do I pay for a tour?
We accept checks, money orders, VISA or Master Card. On day tours under $50 or less, full payment must be received within ten days of booking your reservation. On day tours over $50, we require a $20 per person deposit within ten days of booking your reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to departure. Reservations made within 2 weeks of the departure date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
On overnight tours, deposits are due within ten days of booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. Deposits amounts are per person as follows:
$25 if the tour is priced from $100 — $199
$50 if the tour is priced from $200 — $299
$75 if the tour is priced from $300 — $399
$100 if the tour is priced from $400 — up
The deposits and balances for overnight tours involving airlines and cruise ships are handled differently. Please inquire when booking.
What happens if I have to cancel?
We offer a Cancellation Waiver for passengers who are concerned with their inability to join a tour for which they have paid.
